Throughout the day, mainly after 1pm on March 11, snowflakes where mixed in with the rainfall. The temperature was one of the lowest daily averages we have recorded at Weather; it did not rise above 39°F from noon on March 11 to around 2:00 am on March 12.

During this storm, snow levels dropped to around 2,000 feet resulting in a large amount of snowfall visible on the Superstition Mountains. (See Pictures Below)

This storm ended the long 143 day dry streak that began at Phoenix Sky Harbor on October 18, 2005!
